![]() So the option "whole canvas" is misleading because it makes me think that the eps when imported into another application will include the whole canvas while in fact it will not. The eps specification quoted by Adrian Johnson explicitly requires the importing application not to take into account the absolute coordinates but only the coordinates relative to the bounding box. The difference between the eps files generated with the two options makes no difference when importing the eps into another application (which is the purpose of an eps file). It isn't a bug in the strict sense, but I think it is misleading.
